Come join the Margaret Jenkins Dance Company for a day-long audition/workshop including company class, repertoire, and explorations in composition. This is an opportunity to work closely with Margaret Jenkins and her dancers, to learn existing material and generate new movement, interact with one another and receive feedback from Margy and her Company. During the technique class, dancers will learn phrases from repertory, and as the workshop/audition continues dancers will work directly with company members to generate material together and separately, creating solos and working in groups.

“Besides your technical acuity we want to get a sense of your aesthetic,

and your emotional and intellectual appetite to work in this kind of collective

atmosphere. It is hoped that this lively exchange will give you a sense

of how we collaborate with one another toward developing a work.”
