Presidio Theatre – Province #1

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Presidio Theatre towards the world premiere of "Global Moves," and we invite you to see a chapter of the work as it begins to unfold in its eventual home. The performance will take place in the newly renovated plaza, and following the event the Company will be available to dialogue and answer questions.

"Global Moves" is a collaboration between the MJDC and dancers from China, India, and Israel. In this active, ongoing exchange through live-stream and in-person rehearsals, the artists come together with verve and hope to address the xenophobia we are all experiencing. By creating a rigorous field of movement, music, language, and visual design, we hope to create a work that highlights the values of collaboration and understanding one another’s cultures.
